As a young boy, my first glimpse of San Francisco came during a sightseeing trip with my brother and father. Upon passing over the bay bridge and being awestruck by the mysterious beauty of the lights reflecting on the bay, my father turned to me and said, Now you know why they call it 'The City'. In San Francisco, Late Afternoon at Union Square I wanted to capture the lights and motion that are the essence of San Francisco.
